An outpouring of support from the region's business community resulted in more than $16 million for the . Today, more than $11 million has been distributed or committed. Those funds have reached port workers directly impacted by the collapse, as well as programs for intermediate recovery. Area nonprofits can apply for a $5 million grant to support continued capacity building work for business entities that are still affected.
