Join GBC staff on Thursday, May 1st 12:00-1:00pm for a discussion on the legislative landscape and the impact of both state and federal policy on the Baltimore Region in the year to come.

    Jennifer Vey serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at the Greater Baltimore Committee.

    She brings more than 25 years of experience in urban policy research and program management, holding a wealth of expertise and deep commitment to the connection between place, placemaking and inclusive economic development.

    Prior to joining GBC, Vey spent 23 years at The Brookings Institution and currently serves as a Nonresident Senior Fellow at Brookings Metro. Vey is a graduate of Bucknell University (B.A.) and the University of Virginia (MUP).

    Director of Strategy & Research, Patrick Hosford is an experienced economic developer with a deep understanding of placed-based strategies to spur innovation and bolster urban economies.

    Patrick has successfully created, proposed, and implemented transformative initiatives and programming that have driven economic growth and job creation throughout multiple US markets. Prior to joining GBC, Hosford served as Senior Associate at Tulsa Innovation Labs.

    Hosford is a B.A. graduate of Hunter College.
